Abstract:
The results are given of measurements of the transmission of CO2 laser radiation (10.6 μ) by a mixture of carbon dioxide and nitrogen at temperatures of θ = 293 and 331°K. It is shown that the half-width of the Ð20 line is proportional to θ–1.5. These measurements and an analysis of the published data are used to demonstrate that the values of the resonance absorption coefficient obtained by different authors are in agreement.
