Abstract: A multilayer waveguide-grating optical component for laser cavities was proposed, made, and investigated. It is found that corrugation of all the layers of the component makes it possible to obtain a high coefficient of narrow-band (with respect to wavelength) reflection of moderate-power light beams. The possibility of the operation of the component in the laser cavity in narrow-band filter regime is noted.
