Abstract:
Lasers, based on the F$_2^+$ colour centres in NaCl:OH crystals and emitting in the range of 1.5 $\mu$m, were used to develop further the method of intracavity laser spectroscopy and to widen the spectral range of the method. Up-conversion was used in the detection stage. By way of example, the absorption spectra of water vapour, atmospheric air, carbon dioxide, and acetylene were recorded in the operating range of these lasers.
