Abstract: A review is given of the papers presented at the GCL/HPL'98 Meeting held on August 31 — September 5, 1998 in St Petersburg. A brief account is given of the associated exhibition and a satellite conference held at the All-Russia Scientific-Research Institute of Experimental Physics (Russian Federal Nuclear Centre) in the city of Sarov.
