Abstract: The scheme is suggested for developing the optical communication line based on the principle of code division of multiple access with matched acousto-optical filters and a 16-bit long Walsh sequence. Results of modelling show that such a line can operate if adjacent spectral lines are separated by at least double the Rayleigh criterion.

Keywords: fibre-optic links, acousto-optical filter, code division, multiband filtering.
