Abstract:
An output power of 3 W of a continuous single-frequency signal at a wavelength of 1653 nm was obtained as a result of amplification of the low-power signal of the master laser in the Raman amplifier. The conversion efficiency was 6% -7% with a gain of 30 dB. The simulation is carried out and numerical estimates of the possible achievable output powers of the amplified signal in various amplifier configurations are given.
