Features of the SRS dynamics at the intersection of pumping beams in an active medium

The features of the dynamics of Raman scattering observed upon excitation of SRS in compressed hydrogen by two pumping beams intersecting at a small angle are studied. The Raman scattering was observed in a direction other than the directions of the pumping beams. A qualitative explanation is offered for the observed experimental results.
