Abstract:
The possibility of phase locking of a multicore laser with a spread of the optical paths of microcores amounting to several tens of laser radiation wavelengths is studied. It is shown that phase locking under such conditions can be obtained by using an intracavity filter in the form of a ring waveguide whose length is equal to 1/4 of the Talbot distance. It is shown that a global coupling between the fibre microcores can be obtained using this filter without the loss of the radiation intensity.
