Abstract:
The results of calculation of group-velocity matching for the generation of second harmonic of femtosecond laser pulses in 62 nonlinear-optical crystals are presented. The angular, spectral, and temperature widths of matching as well as the effective nonlinearity are calculated. The crystals providing the efficient generation of second, third, fourth, and fifth harmonics of the femtosecond Cr:forsterite laser radiation are found.
