Fast two-wavelength CARS thermometry of gas discharges

Abstract: Two-wavelength CARS (2-λ-CARS) thermometry was used in fast measurements of the temperatures of gases. The optimal selection of the spectral lines suitable for such measurements was considered. The temperature of a glow-discharge plasma was measured.
