Abstract:
A reflection efficiency ~200% at a phase-conjugation quality ~60% has been achieved experimentally in a phase-conjugate mirror based on InAs in the resonator of a CO2 laser. This efficiency was achieved in the case of a signal formed from the reference-wave output from the resonator. When the beam from an independent CO2 laser was used as the signal, the reflection efficiency was ~500%. This figure is close to the highest attainable in InAs. The dynamics of the reflection from the phase-conjugate mirror over the laser pulse was studied.
