Changes caused in the refractive indices of a KTP crystal by single light pulses with a wavelength of 0.53 μm

Abstract: The optically induced (photorefractive) changes in the refractive indices of a crystal have been studied and measured. The influence of these changes on the characteristics of KTP-based frequency doublers is discussed.
