New type of trap charge-exchange wave in an alternating external field

Abstract: A wave of a charge exchange of traps is predicted to arise during the writing of a hologram in a photorefractive crystal in an alternating external field. The electric field oscillates at a frequency much higher than the reciprocal of the hologram writing time.
