Abstract:
A new one-center LiKYF5:Nd3+ laser crystal was developed. It was found to have a low threshold of stimulated emission as a result of inter-Stark transitions in the 4F3/2→4I11/2 lasing channel. The spectroscopic properties of the crystal were investigated.
