Spatially two-dimensional soliton in the nonlinear optics of ultrahigh radiation intensities

Abstract: Numerical simulation methods are used to demonstrate that the nonlinear Schrodinger equation, describing transient spatially two-dimensional propagation of a powerful short laser pulse in matter, asymptotically contains a spatially two-dimensional soliton.
