Low-threshold, high-reflectivity phase conjugation during stimulated Brillouin scattering in intersecting beams

Abstract: Parametric excitation of stimulated Brillouin scattering in a system of intersections of a signal wave with an intense pump beam can be used for phase conjugation of weak light beams with a high reflectivity ( ~ 105).
