Abstract: A description is given of the optical part of a pulsed electron-beam-controlled CO2 laser with a gain factor gL≈20, consisting of a master oscillator based on a self-filtering unstable resonator and a four-pass off-axis telescopic amplifier. Factors governing the divergence of the radiation in the form of 30-μ pulses are considered.
