Dissociation of SF6 molecules in an infrared laser field under gasdynamic cooling conditions

Abstract: The method of HF* luminescence was used to measure the energy and spectral dependences of the dissociation yield of SF6 gas under conditions of gasdynamic cooling to a temperature of ~30°K. Single- and two-frequency illumination in the fields of discretely tunable TEA CO2 lasers was employed.
