Characteristics of K–Rb lamps as the pump sources for YAG:Nd³⁺ lasers

Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of some characteristics of the operation of Soviet K–Rb pump lamps designed for YAG:Nd³⁺ lasers. It was found that at low pumping rates these K–Rb lamps are efficient pump sources for YAG:Nd³⁺ lasers.
