Possibility of using the method of coherent anti-Stokes scattering under stimulated Brillouin backscattering conditions

An analysis is made of variants of systems which can extend the range of conditions under which the CARS method can be used. An analysis is made of the efficiency of such systems from the point of view of the condition for spatial phase-matching in four-wave interactions.
