Establishment of polarization eigenstates in a resonator with a partial polarizer and a phase plate

An investigation is made of the establishment of polarization eigenstates in resonators of lasers containing an electrooptic modulation element and a partial polarizer. It is shown that the extracavity use of multielement modulators of this type is possible.
