Abstract: Radiation from an injection laser was modulated at frequencies up to 2 GHz by varying the pump current in a traveling-wave amplifier. A single-frequency laser with an external dispersive resonator was used as the master oscillator. The width of the optical spectrum of the modulated radiation did not exceed twice the modulation frequency.
