Abstract: Theoretical and experimental investigations were made of the processing of signals in interference single-fiber sensors by the method of holographic matched filtering. It was established that the sensitivity of the measurement method is governed by the mode composition of the fiber waveguides. It was found experimentally that introduction of aperture stops into an optical signal processing system can correct characteristics of the measuring devices. A good agreement was obtained between the experimental and calculated data.
