Single-frequency lasing aided by a prism selector

Abstract: A new type of intracavity selector, capable of separating reliably adjacent longitudinal modes, was developed. It was used in a neodymium glass laser (λ = 1.06 μ) emitting radiation tunable over a range of 7 nm.
