Third International School on Coherent Optics, Bucharest, August 30–September 7,1982

A brief review is given of lectures and papers presented at the Third International School on Coherent Optics (Bucharest, August 30–September 7,1982). The School was organized into seven sessions: gas laser systems, solid-state lasers, interaction for laser radiation with matter, nonlinear optics, laser methods of plasma diagnostics, fiber and integrated optics, applications of lasers.
