Switching waves in a multistabie Fabry-Perot interferometer with a thermooptic nonlinearity

Numerical and experimental investigations were made of those characteristics of switching waves which were due to multistability of an extended Fabry–Perot interferometer with a thermooptic nonlinearity. A study was made of the propagation and interaction of waves of different amplitudes.
