Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of dependences of the dissociation selectivity and yield of 13CF2Cl2 molecules on the gas pressure, wavelength, radiation energy density, and laser pulse shape. The dissociation selectivity for the P 20 line and a radiation energy density of 4 J/cm2 carried by short pulses (~ 100 nsec) was 35-95 at pressures of 1–20 Torr. The dissociation yield was 3-5% and the working pressure of the natural Freon was up to 10 Torr.
