Stabilization of the direction of emission from unstable prism resonators

An experimental investigation was made of the possibility of stabilization of the direction of emission from a solid-state laser when the mirrors of a telescopic resonator were replaced with dihedral prisms having spherical hypotenuse faces. The results obtained were in agreement with the theory.
