Abstract:
A comparison was made of three compositions of barium sodium niobate single crystals grown by the Czochralski method using Donets-1 apparatus with an improved stabilization of the output power of an hf oscillator. The absorption spectra were recorded. Measurements were made of the relative yield of the second harmonic of YAG:Nd laser radiation and of the absorption coefficient at the wavelengths of 0.63 and 1.15 μ. The best values of all three criteria were obtained for Ba2.09Na0.72Nb5.02O15 crystals.
