Gravitational effects in nonlinear spectroscopy under spatially inhomogeneous conditions

Abstract: An analysis is made of the influence of stationary and wave gravitational fields on the nonlinear absorption spectrum under conditions of spatial inhomogeneity. It is established that transit broadening of nonlinear spectral resonances caused by the spatial boundedness of the optical beam does not impede the observation of gravitational acceleration of resonantly absorbing gas molecules.
