Comparative analysis of wide-band excimer lasers with optical and electron pumping

A comparison was made of lasers utilizing triatomic excimers and the C→A transition in the excimer XeF, pumped optically and by an electron beam. The following parameters were compared: the small-signal gain, absorption losses, and energy characteristics.
