Reconstruction of images of rotating bodies of arbitrary angular dimensions. I. Structure of Doppler spectra and reconstruction of images from projections

Abstract: The correlation function of a field scattered by a rotating rough surface is obtained. The statistical structure of the Doppler spectra of the field and their relationship with the image of the scattering surface is analyzed. It is shown that methods of reconstructing an image from projections can be used to obtain two-dimensional images of a scatterer from averaged Doppler spectra.
