Reconstruction of images of rotating bodies of arbitrary angular dimensions. III. Dynamic Doppler approach

A. M. Androsov, V. G. Vygon, N. D. Ustinov

Abstract: An analysis is made of some features of the dynamic structure of Doppler spectra of a coherent signal scattered by a rotating surface for long intervals of spectral analysis. It is shown that the dynamic parameters of the Doppler spectra are related to the two-dimensional image of the scattering surface. Constraints on the resolution of Doppler methods of constructing two-dimensional images under real conditions are studied.
