Role of delay in superradiance kinetics

An analysis is made of superradiance in an extended two-level system. A new quantum-mechanical approach is proposed for the investigation of the evolution in space and time. A new system of integrodifferential equations is obtained and this system predicts a wider superradiance pulse and thus improves the agreement with experimental data.
