Abstract: Results are presented of experimental investigations of the efficiency and spectral composition of the radiation from a pulsed atmospheric-pressure electron-beam-controlled laser containing 13C16O2 and 12C18O2 carbon dioxide isotopes in the active mixture. It was found that the operating efficiency of a laser utilizing these isotopes is similar to that of a laser utilizing the 12C16O2 molecule and the input energy is governed by the presence and number of impurities in the active mixture.
