Multipass neodymium glass laser amplifier with a stimulated Brillouin scattering mirror

Abstract: The gain achieved in an eight-pass amplifier with a stimulated Brillouin scattering mirror was up to 3 × 105 for nanosecond pulses with an input energy of ~ 10 μJ.
