Abstract: A new nonlinear Gd2(MoO4)3 laser crystal was developed for generation of the second harmonic of 1 μm cw laser radiation. It is shown, that Nd3+:Gd2(MoO4)3 is a promising material for cw crystal lasers with self-doubling of the emission frequency.
