Abstract:
The results are presented of experimental investigations of the energy, spectral, and time characteristics of a synchronous tunable picosecond LiF:$F_2^+$ oscillator pumped by second harmonic pulses from a KGd(WO$_4$)$_2$:Nd$^{3+}$ laser. Bandwidth-limited pulses of 8 ps duration were generated in the 0.88–1.00 $\mu$m tuning range.
