An investigation was made of the active media of solid-state lasers based on Cr
3+
:Yb
3+
:Ln
3+
:YSGG crystals, where Ln
3+
is Ho
3+
, Tm
3+
, or Er
3+
. The spectroscopic and lasing characteristics of these materials were determined.
