Electron-beam-controlled laser utilizing a mixture of carbon monoxide isotopes

Abstract: Lasing due to vibrational–rotational transitions in the 13C16O isotopic molecule was achieved in a pulsed electron-beam-controlled CO laser. The influence of the ratio of the concentrations of 13C16O and 12C16O molecules on the energy and spectral characteristics of the laser radiation was investigated.
