Abstract:
The results of a direct modeling of the distribution of the field on a mirror and of the angular divergence of radiation in a Fabry–Perot resonator, when waves are refracted repeatedly by the same random "frozen" turbulent perturbations, are compared with the results obtained using a Gaussian Markov approximation. It is shown that the Gaussian Markov approximation describes satisfactorily the average characteristics of radiation transmitted by a medium with different degrees of turbulence.
