Method of determination by means of NOCI of the absolute quantum yields of I(2P1/2) atoms in photolysis of iodides

Abstract: An analysis was made of the experimental conditions in the determination of the quantum yield ΦI*(λ) of I(2P1/2) atoms by a reaction with nitrosyl chloride molecules, when this method did not reduce ΦI*(λ).
