Two-frequency pulsed CO2 laser

A study was made of two-frequency emission from a pulsed CO₂ laser under conditions of free competition between the frequencies. Methods for locking the lasing thresholds in the twofrequency CO₂ laser were considered and the advantages of the use of this laser in isotope separation were discussed.
