Abstract:
An analysis is made of the problem of compensation of the influence of a turbulent atmosphere on the characteristics of propagation of radiation in this atmosphere. The compensation is performed by using a phase conjugation algorithm. A study is made of the dependence of the relative variance of the intensity fluctuations (on the beam axis) on the state of the atmosphere, on the number of the algorithm channels, and on the signal/noise ratio in a detector. The precision of these relationships is estimated by a statistical modeling method.
