Electron-beam spatial and temporal light modulator with a three-layer target

A design is suggested for a target of an electron-beam spatial–temporal light modulator, which can double the modulator resolution when a high-voltage electron gun is used. A calculation is made of the frequency-contrast characteristic of a three-layer target made of a DKDP crystal.
