Abstract: Lasing was observed in a system with self-pumped "loop" phase-conjugate mirrors in YAG:Nd³⁺, KGW:Nd³⁺, and GSGG:Cr³⁺:Nd³⁺ active media. An investigation was made of the threshold, energy, spectral, and temporal characteristics of the output radiation under lasing and regenerative conditions.
