Abstract:
It is shown that the kinetics of the establishment of the spectral distribution of the radiation in an $LiF$:$F^-_2$ crystal laser agrees with the lasing kinetics of homogeneously broadened media. The laser was used to record the $\tilde A^2A'(0,0,1)\leftarrow\tilde X^2A''(0,0,0)$ rotational lines of the electronic transition in the $HO_2$ radical with a sensitivity of $10^{-7}$ cm$^{-1}$.
