Destruction of virus capsids by laser radiation

The results are presented of an analysis of various mechanisms responsible for the action of laser radiation on a suspension of virus particles in the presence of specially selected dyes. An improved method of selective destruction of bacteriophage capsids and some examples of its application are given.
