Subsurface generation of hard X-rays by a BaF2 target exposed to repetitively pulsed radiation from a femtosecond Cr:forsterite laser at power densities below 1015 W cm-2
Abstract:
The subsurface generation of hard X-rays (Eγ>20 keV) is found during the formation of a channel by a train of 1014–1015-W cm-2 femtosecond laser pulses in a BaF2 target.
