Abstract:
A comparative analysis is made of the nonequilibrium flow of CO2–N2–He and N2O–N2–He gas mixtures in a planar profiled nozzle having a contour slightly inclined with respect to the plane of symmetry (ω = 4°) at the point corresponding to the transition from an expanding section to a constant-cross-section channel. The ensuing weak gasdynamic perturbation results in periodic fluctuations of the gain α in each stream filament and in the establishment of equidistant zones with enhanced homogeneity of α across the flow.
